Cervantes is one of the top pitching prospects in the Class of 2025 with a fastball that reaches 94 mph. Baseball America selected Cervantes to the 2025 Preseason High School All-American First Team and rated his command and changeup as the best in the country. He committed to play collegiately for the UCLA Bruins, though a potential 2025 MLB Draft selection could alter his plans.
