Top 10 Texas high school baseball players in Class of 2025
7. Ethan Baiotto, RHP, Southlake Carroll
Baiotto could also become an MLB draft pick this summer but plans to play college baseball for reigning national champion Tennessee where he will join forces with fellow Texas Class of 2025 standout Taylor Tracey. Baiotto has star potential at the next level as a dominant right-handed pitcher who seemingly continues to get better every time he takes the mound. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound senior was named District 4-6A MVP last season with multiple strong outings on the bump for Southlake Carroll highlighted by a no-hitter in March. Overall, he posted a 1.10 ERA with 72 strikeouts across 70 innings of work. Baiotto’s stock rose further with good performances while playing with USA Baseball and at the Area Code Games this past summer, showcasing his sinking low-90s fastball and strong control.
