Amari Cooper’s free agency: 5 landing spots for 7x 1,000-yard WR
BUFFALO, N.Y. (BVM) – Amari Cooper is one of the top wide receivers available in NFL free agency this offseason.
Cooper is coming off of a tough 2024 season where he struggled during the first half of the year with the Cleveland Browns in large part due to poor quarterback play. He was traded to the Buffalo Bills midseason, but never quite found his footing alongside Josh Allen in Joe Brady’s offense.
However, Cooper isn’t far removed from a 2023 season where he posted a career-high 1,250 receiving yards, the seventh 1,000-yard receiving season of his career. Throughout his 10 years in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, Browns and Bills, the 30-year-old has amassed 711 receptions, over 10,000 receiving yards and 64 receiving touchdowns.
While the former Alabama star is undoubtedly on the back nine of his career, Cooper remains a highly productive wideout in the right situation and could be a reliable veteran target for several teams. Here are five landing spots for Cooper in free agency.
