Amari Cooper’s free agency: 5 landing spots for 7x 1,000-yard WR
Washington Commanders
The Commanders will likely be linked to multiple free agents this offseason with the third-most cap space in the league and a young superstar quarterback, Jayden Daniels. After coming within a game of reaching the Super Bowl this past season, a couple of notable additions might be all Washington needs to get over the hump. Wide receiver will likely be an area general manager Adam Peters targets, and a reliable veteran like Cooper could prove beneficial in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense. The Commanders were an average passing team in 2024 but may open things up more for Daniels going forward. Washington has a bonafide No. 1 wideout with Terry McLaurin, but Zach Ertz, Olamide Zaccheaus, Dyami Brown and Noah Brown are free agents. Cooper would be a nice upgrade and give Daniels a pair of reliable targets to grow around.
