4. Craig Chessher, Stony Point Tigers 

Chessher’s salary in 2024 was $123,745. In comparison, the average annual wage in Round Rock Independent School District was $53,416. 

Chessher has served as Stony Point’s head football coach since 2004. Under his leadership, the Tigers have made several deep playoff runs but haven’t won a state title. In 2024, the team finished with a 3-7 overall record. 

The 63-year-old, who is also the athletic coordinator, is contemplating retirement.
