Before Gobert joined the Timberwolves, he was a standout defensive player with the Jazz. He was named a three-time defensive player of the year and helped rebuild the Jazz to a No. 1 playoff seed in 2021. Gobert ranks second in rebounds, third in blocks, 10th in points and first in field goal percentage in the franchise’s record books.
