Jaguars cut Evan Engram: 5 landing spots for veteran tight end
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (BVM) – The Jacksonville Jaguars had an eventful Thursday, shipping off Christian Kirk to the Houston Texans for a seventh-round pick and cutting starting tight end Evan Engram. The latter had 47 receptions and 365 yards before his 2024 season was ended by a torn labrum in early December.
The 30-year-old was set to have a $19.4-million cap hit prior to his release. Engram should be the consensus top free-agent tight end and will likely have a sizable market.
These are five teams to watch for the veteran pass catcher.
