2. Mark Wilkinson, Rock Hill Blue Hawks  

Wilkinson is another head football coach in the Prosper Independent School District to make this list; his 2024 salary totaled $242,040. 

Interestingly, the school district’s highest salary belongs to superintendent Holly Ferguson, who earns about $700,000. 

Wilkinson was promoted from assistant to head coach at Rock Hill in 2022. The Class 6A Blue Hawks finished 3-7 in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons before improving to 6-5 in 2024.
