The Big West Player of the Year has one of the most fascinating journeys in the tournament. The Wellington, New Zealand, native started his college career at the University of Hawaii at Hilo before becoming the best player in UC San Diego’s history over the past two seasons. Tait-Jones led the country in free-throw attempts (293) and averaged 19.9 points.
