Kyle Neptune out: 5 Villanova basketball coaching candidates
VILLANOVA, Pa. (BVM) –The Villanova Wildcats were an elite college basketball program under Jay Wright, but they have struggled to find their footing since his retirement. The school announced Saturday that it is moving on from his successor, Kyle Neptune.
The 40-year-old was an assistant coach under Wright, but his tenure as a head coach has been a flop. Neptune had a 54-47 record in three seasons and failed to make the NCAA Tournament.
Villanova should attract plenty of candidates, but these are the five most likely candidates.
