Dedan Thomas Jr. transferring: 5 landing spots for UNLV guard
LAS VEGAS (BVM) – UNLV point guard Dedan Thomas Jr. has quietly been one of the budding stars at the mid-major level. He was third-team All-MWC this season after averaging 15.6 points and 4.7 assists. The Las Vegas native was the No. 34 recruit in the Class of 2023 according to 247 Sports, but he decided to stay local and play for his father’s alma mater.
Thomas Jr. will reportedly be entering the NCAA transfer portal following UNLV’s decision to fire head coach Kevin Kruger. He will have two years of eligibility remaining and is arguably the top player available via the transfer portal.
These five schools make the most sense for his recruitment.
