Serah Williams transferring: 5 landing spots for All-Big Ten forward
UConn Huskies
UConn has already been rumored to be pursuing Williams and the talented forward would help address an area of need in Storrs. The Huskies have had another tremendous season under Geno Auriemma, winning 31 games while earning a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. However, one of UConn’s biggest issues this season has been frontcourt depth. Freshman Sarah Strong has quickly emerged as a star for the Huskies, but outside of her, they have not received a lot of production at forward. Young players like Jana El Alfy and Ice Brady still have time to develop, but Williams would give UConn a bonafide star down low who would form a strong tandem with Strong. With Paige Bueckers out of eligibility, there will be a lot of offensive production for the Huskies to make up for next season, and Williams could help fill the void.
