Magoon Gwath transferring: 5 landing spots for 7-foot defensive POY

Oregon Ducks

Oregon was interested in Gwath coming out of high school and could be again as the 7-foot center is the kind of big who thrives in Dana Altman’s system with a similar skill set to a player like N’Faly Dante. Oregon will lose at least one frontcourt player this offseason with Brandon Angel out of eligibility, while former McDonald’s All-American Mookie Cook is transferring. Ultimately, adding Gwath could come down to if Nate Bittle returns for a fifth season. If not, Gwath could be a terrific replacement as an athletic big who would fit nicely alongside Kwame Evans Jr.
