Ryan Conwell transferring: 5 landing spots for All-Big East guard
CINCINNATI (BVM) – Xavier guard Ryan Conwell has entered the transfer portal and will likely play for his fourth program in as many years next season.
After a strong prep career at Pike High School in Indianapolis, Conwell began his collegiate career at South Florida, starting 21 games as a freshman. Conwell had a breakout sophomore season while playing for Josh Schertz at Indiana State, averaging 16.6 points for a 32-win Sycamores squad.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound guard’s emergence continued under Sean Miller at Xavier this season while averaging 16.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals. Conwell shot 45% from the field and a career-best 41.2% from 3-point range as a third-team All-Big East performer.
