Kanon Catchings transferring: 5 landing spots for legacy guard
PROVO, Utah (BVM) — Kanon Catchings is looking for a new home. The nephew of former WNBA star Tamika Catchings averaged 7.2 points as a freshman guard at BYU this season, but he saw his role with the Cougars drop off during February and March. He was on the floor for a combined nine minutes during BYU’s pair of NCAA Tournament games last month.
Kanon’s mother, Tauja, told IndyStar last year that her son’s goal was to one day play in the NBA, which was a big reason why he changed his mind about his original commitment to Matt Painter and Purdue.
Who are some teams that could help him achieve his professional goals?
