Ranking the 10 greatest St. Louis Cardinals in franchise history
8. Lou Brock, LF (1964-79)
Brock was a game changer for the Cards. The fleet-footed left fielder took St. Louis to the next level. The club captured a (1964) World Series championship soon after his arrival. Brock would help them claim another three years later. In 1985, he was immortalized in the game’s Hall of Fame.
