Darrion Williams transferring: 5 landing spots for Big 12 star
LUBBOCK, Texas (BVM) – Texas Tech forward Darrion Williams was one of the top players in the Big 12 this season and helped the Red Raiders make it to the Elite Eight. It does not appear he will return to Lubbock for his senior season.
Williams declared for the NBA draft Sunday but also entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal. He is viewed as a second-round prospect and would likely benefit from returning to college.
The Texas Tech star would be a huge piece in the transfer portal if he sticks with the college game and would probably be a preseason All-American in 2025-26. These schools could be in the mix to land him.
