Dan Skillings Jr. transferring: 5 landing spots for Big 12 HM guard
CINCINNATI (BVM) – Cincinnati guard Dan Skillings Jr. has entered the transfer portal after three seasons with the Bearcats.
Skillings Jr. emerged as a four-star prospect during his high school career at Roman Catholic in Philadelphia before playing nearly 15 minutes per game as a freshman at Cincinnati. Skillings Jr.’s breakout campaign came during his sophomore season as he was named an All-Big 12 honorable mention performer, averaging 12.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
The 6-foot-6 guard’s numbers declined slightly during his junior season, perhaps in part due to an early-season knee injury, averaging 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals while shooting 44% from the field.
Despite the down year, Skillings Jr. has proven his upside and should still garner significant high-major interest while in the portal. Here are five landing spots for Skillings Jr.
