The Fresno, California native began his collegiate career with the Willamette Bearcats, a Division III school in Oregon. He played just one game for the Bearcats before transferring to Eastern Washington, where he spent the next two seasons and averaged 15.4 points in his final season with the Eagles.
Coward then transferred to Washington State and averaged 17.7 points, seven rebounds and 3.7 assists over six games before a season-ending shoulder injury. The 6-foot-6 guard is back in the portal and is expected to be one of the most sought-after backcourt players available.
With one season of eligibility remaining, here are five schools that could pursue the talented scorer.
