9. Iowa State Cyclones

Iowa State, TCU and Baylor will likely all be in the mix to win the Big 12 next season, and each has a case to crack this list. However, the Cyclones might be best positioned for success among the group. Iowa State has an elite scorer with forward Audi Crooks, who averaged 23.4 points this past season. Fellow sophomore Addy Brown has also emerged as a star player for the Cyclones. Head coach Bill Fennelly made a big addition already this offseason, adding former Arizona guard Jada Williams in the transfer portal, who will replace senior Emily Ryan. Those three could form a special trio, and development from some of Iowa State’s other young guards could have the Cyclones in contention for a Final Four berth just under a year from now.
