North Carolina would provide an intriguing opportunity for Fulwiley to remain relatively close to home while joining a program on the rise under Courtney Banghart. The Tar Heels won 29 games this past season, their most since 2013, but will lose their top three leading scorers: Alyssa Ustby, Maria Gakdeng and Lexi Donarski. However, sophomore standout Reniya Kelly will return alongside a young nucleus that will add two top-25 Class of 2025 commits. Adding Fulwiley would give the Tar Heels greater experience and a bona fide playmaker on both ends of the floor.
