8. Max Carey, OF (1910-26)

A 1925 World Series champion, Carey produced a 53.5 career WAR in Pittsburgh, the sixth-highest mark in franchise history. He led the NL in stolen bases 10 times, and in triples twice, while playing at least 140 games in 11 seasons. Carey leads the franchise with 688 steals and ranks among the top five Pirates with 2,416 hits, 1,414 runs and 2,178 games played.
