Bucks waive Damian Lillard: 5 landing spots for 7x All-NBA PG
MILWAUKEE (BVM) – Damian Lillard is now a free agent after the Milwaukee Bucks waived the superstar point guard. The move comes after the team signed former Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner in free agency.

Lillard is expected to miss most or all of the 2025-26 season due to a torn Achilles he suffered during the Bucks’ first-round loss to the Pacers in the 2025 playoffs. Still, the NBA 75th Anniversary Team member is expected to draw strong interest from multiple teams planning for the future.
