Lamar Opens Southland Play Saturday

BEAUMONT, Texas – It might sound odd, but Lamar University will step on the court Saturday for its 2025-26 Southland Conference opener. It marks the first second year in a row that LU will open conference play before Christmas as well as the second consecutive year opening against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
