McClain finishes 3rd in 1650 to pace Westminster at Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio–Junior Maddy McClain (Elizabeth, Pa., Elizabeth Forward) registered a third-place finish in the 1650 Saturday to wrap up Westminster’s run at the Wooster Invitational. The three-day event was inside the YMCA of Wooster’s Chris Mathew Aquatics Center. Friday and Saturday’s diving events were held at Wooster’s Timken Natatorium. Wooster won the 10-team event with 1,628.50 points. Westminster was seventh, finishing with 563 points. McClain finished in 18 minutes, 07.19 seconds, now the top time in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) this season. The effort ranks ninth on the College’s top times list.
