Panthers hold Jackson State to 84 rushing yards in 23-21 win in SWAC Championship

JACKSON, Mississippi –Behind an impressive defensive showing that held the Jackson State offense to 84 rushing yards, Prairie View A&M took down the Tigers 23-21 on the road Saturday afternoon to win the 2025 SWAC Championship The Panthers improved to 10-3 on the year and 8-1 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play, while the Tigers fell to 9-3 and 7-2.
