Women’s Swimming Secures First Win Of Season In Tri-Meet Against UMass, Rhode Island

Philadelphia, PA — La Salle women's swim and dive competed in a tri-meet against Rhode Island and UMass at Kirk Pool Saturday. Overall, the women beat Rhode Island by a score of 183-114, but fell to UMass 155-143. La Salle started the morning with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay, as seniors Rosalia Marin Martinez, Carlota Ungo, Tori Fenn, and Gabriela Herbreder teamed up for a winning time of 1:45.55, edging out UMass by just three-tenths of a second.
