Women’s Basketball’s Preston Named WCC Player of the Week
SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Pepperdine women’s basketball junior Shorna Preston has been named West Coast Conference (WCC) Player of the Week, announced today by the conference. Preston helped the Waves to a pair of victories this past week over California Baptist (CBU) and Fresno State, notching a double-double in each contest. Preston averaged 18.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and 2.5 steals per game across the week.
