Kilpatrick’s Game-High 25 Leads Pointers Past Lawrence

APPLETON, Wis. – Senior Emma Kilpatrick (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) poured in a season-high 25 points as the UW-Stevens Point women’s basketball team (7-0) defeated Lawrence (7-1) by a 71-54 final in a matchup of unbeatens on Tuesday. Kilpatrick led all scorers with 25 points going 8-for-12 from the floor, including five made three-pointers. She also led the Pointers with eight rebounds. Maija Rice (L’Anse, Mich./L’Anse Area) and Karissa Smith (Freedom, Wis./Appleton North) were also in double figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
