Eduards Tralmaks named to Latvia Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team
ORONO, Maine – Former University of Maine men's ice hockey player Eduards Tralmaks has been named to the 2026 Latvia Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team, as announced Tuesday by Team Latvia. Tralmaks, who played four seasons for the Black Bears from 2017-2021, will be a first-time Olympian. The Riga, Latvia native competed for Team Latvia at the two previous World Championships in 2024 and 2025, showing a combined nine points (4-5—9) in 14 games.
