(Atchison, Kan.)- A furious fourth-quarter surge by Peru State fell just short Wednesday night, as Benedictine held on late for an 80-74 win in nonconference action. The Bobcats trailed 48-41 after three quarters but erupted for 33 points in the final period to make it a one-possession game in the closing minute.
