School record, event victories pave the way to strong performance by GC men’s track and field team

Results PELLA, Iowa – Two event victories and a school record highlighted Grinnell College’s men’s track and field team’s effort at the Dutch Athletic Classic Friday. Running at the meet hosted by Central College, Jess Christensen ’29 toppled Grinnell’s record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.78 seconds in the prelims.
