School Record Falls At Flaminio Classic

Grand Rapids, Michigan – The women’s track & field team returned to action on Friday night as the Saints played host to the 5th Annual John Flaminio Classic. Aquinas welcomed Cornerstone and Southwestern Michigan College to the Alksnis Athletic and Recreation Building. The Saints tallied eleven first place finishes on the night and received a school record and a national qualifying effort. Maelie Hope’s time of 7.62 in the 60 meter final set a new Aquinas College record and was a provisional qualifier for the NAIA National Championships.
