SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster women's basketball team used a dominant third quarter to pull away Saturday afternoon, defeating South Dakota Mines 77–61 at Behnken Field House in RMAC play. The Griffins broke open a close game after halftime, scoring 34 points in the third quarter to take control and secure their second straight home conference win.
