Souza Earns First Career GLVC Women’s Swimmer of the Week Award

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – McKendree Women's Swimmer Beatriz Souza's outstanding efforts against UMSL earned her the final regular season Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Women's Swimmer of the Week award, the league announced Wednesday afternoon. Souza had two first place individual finishes in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke, finishing with times of 1:04.81 and 2:19.68 respectively. She was also a factor in the 200-yard medley relay with a 29.23 split time in the breaststroke portion.
