CHL to NHL: former Rebels captain Uchacz debuts with Golden Knights
Former Red Deer Rebels captain Kai Uchacz made his NHL debut with the Vegas Golden Knights Wednesday. In a 5-2 win over Vancouver, Uchacz played 11:49 and recorded five hits across 19 shifts. The 10th overall pick in the 2018 WHL Draft by Seattle, the De Winton, AB., native played 57 games with the T-Birds. Ahead of the 2021-22 season, he was traded to Red Deer where in three seasons he recorded 106 goals and 199 points in 188 games.
