Explorers Women’s Track Takes Part In Rutgers Scarlet Knight Open

New York, NY – The La Salle women's track team competed Friday afternoon at The Armory hosted by Rutgers University. All five Explorers athletes that competed ran in the women's 5k college race. Leading the way was sophomore Gillian Lovett, who placed second with a time of 17:25.64. Junior Stella Hammond was next, getting fourth with a time of 17:39.38. Sophomores Amelia Green and Cara Coppolino went eighth and ninth with times of 17:57.97 and 18:03, respectively.
