Jackets lose to Lee, Alabama-Huntsville on opening day

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Cedarville dropped a pair of contests to begin the season in the Chattanooga Invitational. Lee took down the Jackets 8-0 in six innings while Alabama-Huntsville was a 10-2 victor in five innings. Anna Gardner doubled against Lee and Ella Leonard singled and stole a base in the first game. Freshmen Anna Gorshak and Macy Sidebottom also had base hits. Against UAH, rookie Anna Weathers doubled in a run and Gardner added an RBI single. Leonard doubled and scored the first run of the season and Gorshak produced a double as part of Cedarville’s six hit attack.
