McConnell leads Hawks to 21-5 win over Adams State

Jonah McConnell scored six goals and three assists to lead the 20th-ranked Rockhurst men's lacrosse team to a 21-5 season-opening victory over Adams State Friday in Alamosa, Colorado. Rockhurst jumped out to an 11-1 lead with 6:44 left in the second quarter and a 14-3 lead in halftime. The Hawks outscored the Grizzlies 7-2 in the second half.
