Women’s Track & Field Wins Fourth Straight Maine State Indoor Title

LEWISTON, Maine – For the fourth straight season, the Bowdoin women’s track & field team won the Maine State Indoor Championship, hosted Saturday at Bates College. Meet Highlights The Polar Bears ran away with the crown, posting 220 team points to easily out-distance Bates (186.83) and Colby (134) in the eight-team field. Kennedy Kirkland led the way for the Polar Bears, winning the long jump in a meet-record distance of 5.72m and also claiming first in the 200m (26.22) and taking third in the 60m (7.92).
