Birmingham, Ainley Pick Up Conference of New England Weekly Awards

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (February 10, 2026) – A pair of Golden Bears from women’s ice hockey have been named Conference of New England Athletes of the Week, Michaela Birmingham as the CNE’s Player of the Week, and Lilly Ainley as the CNE’s Rookie of the Week. Birmingham opened last week by leading the Golden Bears to a victory on the road over Nichols College, scoring the first two goals of the game, the second being the game-winner, in a 5-1 win over the Bison. Birmingham took five shots in the game, while both goals she scored came on the power play.…
