RECAP: Men’s Basketball drops road clash to hot-shooting East Stroudsburg, 76-64

The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team was unable to get over the hump against a hot-shooting East Stroudsburg squad during a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division setback Saturday at ESU’s Koehler Fieldhouse, 76-64. Shippensburg (12-13, 7-11 PSAC) never trailed East Stroudsburg (18-7, 12-6) by more than 10 points in the opening half and was within five, 47-42, with less than fifteen minutes remaining in regulation, but struggled to stop a Warrior squad down the stretch that shot 58.0 percent (29-of-50) overall from the field and 56.3 percent from three-point range.
