Beach Volleyball Opens Spring Season at Green Wave Invitational

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers beach volleyball team will make their season debut this weekend at the Green Wave Invitational to be held at White Sands Courts in Elmwood. The tournament will take place on Friday and Saturday and the Privateers will play four opponents. Day one will feature action against South Florida and Spring Hill. The Saturday slate will feature competition against Tulane and Oregon. Tulane is ranked in the preseason AVCA poll while South Florida and Oregon both received votes in the poll released on Feb. 17.
