Fourth-Quarter Surge Leads Women’s Basketball To Win At Sacred Heart

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Merrimack College women's basketball team used a 24-point fourth quarter to claim a 62-57 victory against Sacred Heart on Thursday. The Warriors outscored the Pioneers 24-19 in the final frame after trailing 26-24 at the half. Madison Roman scored 22 points while shooting 57 percent (8-for-14) from the field. She finished just shy of a double-double with nine rebounds and a career-high six steals. Paloma Garcia chipped in 10 points t(6-for-6 from free throw line) to go with five rebounds and five assists.
