Eastern Oregon Drops Matchup in Newberg
NEWBERG, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon University women’s lacrosse team battled on the road Saturday afternoon but fell to George Fox University, 23–1, at Austin Sports Complex. George Fox came out fast, scoring nine first-quarter goals and adding seven more in the second to take a 16–0 lead into halftime. The Mountaineers struggled to slow the Bruins’ transition offense early, as turnovers and draw losses allowed the home side to control possession for much of the opening half.
