Marist Softball Earns First Win Over Nationally-Ranked Team

COLUMBIA, South Carolina – The Marist University softball team earned its first win over a nationally-ranked team in program history on Saturday. The Red Foxes defeated #22 South Carolina by a score of 2-1 in their first game of the day at Garnet & Black Invitational. In their second game of the day, Marist fell to Queens, 7-1. Marist broke a scoreless tie in the top of the fourth.
