Cowgirls Lock Down Whitman, Advance To NCAA Sweet 16

ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons’ Cowgirl basketball team won 56-35 against the Whitman College Blues in the NCAA tournament to advance to the NCAA Sweet 16 round next weekend at New York University. The Cowgirls won the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament hosted at Hardin-Simmons, and more information will be made available for the Cowgirl trip to NYU next weekend. Hardin-Simmons locked down the Whitman offense in the first half, giving up just nine points in 20 minutes.
