Bruins sign Frederic Brunet to two-year extension
The Boston Bruins have locked up a depth defenseman for a couple more seasons. The team announced on Monday that they have signed Frederic Brunet to a two-year contract extension. The new contract will be a two-way deal with an annual NHL cap hit of $875,000. Brunet, 22, had been in the final season of a three-year, $2.58 million contract, and was scheduled to become a restricted free agent after this season.
