Mata places 15th in the long jump at NCAA Indoor Championships

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Concordia-St. Paul's Cam Mata competed in the long jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships on Friday afternoon, finishing in 15 th place in the 18-participant field. Mata, who moved up one spot after entering the NCAA Championships as the 16 th qualifier, cleared 23' 0 (7.01 meters) on his third and final jump of the day. Earlier this season, the sophomore standout broke the CSP record in the indoor long jump with a distance of 24' 2.25".
