Alabama basketball star Aden Holloway arrested on drug charge
One of the top Canadian connections in this year’s NCAA men’s basketball tournament is facing legal trouble. Alabama’s Aden Holloway, who played for Canada at GLOBL JAM last summer, was arrested for first-degree possession of marijuana and failure to affix a tax stamp, Tuscaloosa Police confirmed to Sportsnet on Monday. Police recovered more than a pound of marijuana, paraphernalia and cash at a residence, a police spokesperson said.
